Many opportunities exist to worship God through music. The Chancel Choir, Youth Choir, Praise Team, and instrumentalists of every kind enrich the worship services each week.

Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir rehearses weekly from 6:30 to 7:30 on Thursday evenings. Consisting of approximately 25 members, this choir prepares anthems and special music offerings for the traditional service on Sunday mornings and other special services throughout the church year. The group sings a variety of musical styles and is a dynamic, growing group of individuals who view music as an important ministry to the congregation. We welcome new members at any time throughout the year. The group is directed by Dr. Ann K. Behrens and accompanied by Mary Lou McGinnis.

Instrumentalists

Whether you are a professionally trained musician or haven't dusted off your trumpet since the days of marching band, many opportunities to play during worship exist at Faith Presbyterian Church. Festive Christmas and Easter services use a variety of brass, string, woodwind, and percussion instruments to enhance the worship experience. Choir anthems, solo and ensemble opportunities, and the praise team provide opportunities throughout the church year for instrumentalists to use their talents in worship services. Handbells are also available and used wherever possible to enrich the music experience. Contact one of the choir directors for more information or to volunteer your talents.

Organists

A 3-manual, 54-rank pipe organ, with both exposed and enclosed pipes, is located in the front of the sanctuary and is used to lead worship during the traditional service. The organists are Dr. Ann K. Behrens and Lynne Fox.
