Why Faith Presbyterian Church?
At Faith Presbyterian Church it’s All About Jesus! Our desire is that you will find a church that more than anything else wants its members to live missionally, making a difference in the world in which they work, live and interact with their neighbors.
What do we believe?
That there is one God. We believe the Bible, uniquely and fully inspired by the Holy Spirit, is the supreme and final authority on all matters on which it speaks. For more information on our essentials of faith, see Beliefs
Is there a place for me at Faith Presbyterian?
At Faith Presbyterian we welcome people of all ages, backgrounds, and spiritual maturity. Whether you’re just getting to know JesusChrist or are a deep-rooted Christian, we’re all on the same quest for spiritual growth. There’s a place for you here at Faith Presbyterian, we will do our best to make you feel welcome as part of our church family.
What do you offer for kids?
At Faith Presbyterian, our children are taken care of from birth on. Nursery is available for children ages 3 and under. Preschool Sunday school starts at age 4 with classes each Sunday for all ages through High School. Our Wednesday Night Alive Program is for grades Kindergarten through 6th grade, along with both Junior & Senior High Youth Groups meeting. We have Psalters Children’s Choir & Joyful Noise Youth Choir. Activities for kids includes camps, missions, and much else.
What’s the difference between the two worship services?
At Faith Presbyterian, you may choose between more traditional Presbyterian worship and a more contemorary praise service. The difference is largely in the way music applied to worship. A Chancel Choir and organ is an important part of traditional worship. Our Praise Service is built around contemporary praise music with instrumental accompaniment. See Service Times.
Dress code?
Just come as you are. You are welcome.
How do I get to know people in the church?
Don't worry. We will do our best to get acquainted with you. If you think we may have dropped the ball, introduce yourself to the handiest person and see what happens. When you are ready to learn more about us, we also offer a periodic Inquirer’s Class taught by Pastor Bakker that introduces you to our church and our beliefs.
Can someone visit me in my home?
Of course. If you would like a visit from a pastor or member of our church, please call or email the church office. Look here to Contact Us.
Do you have to be a member of Faith Presbyterian for your child to attend Lollipop Plus Preschool?
No. In fact, many of our preschool attendees come from outside Faith Presbyterian and have a variety of religious backgrounds. We are proud to offer a quality Christian preschool to our community with ‘no strings attached.’
